Homebound Coffee grows with the regulars. Many of them have been loyal customers since the first time Homebound Coffee opened to serve coffee about five years ago. Many of the regulars also bond with each other and make genuine new relations.
Something that I found interesting is that Homebound Coffee has space to sell stuff by his regulars. Mostly food & beverages that you might not find anywhere else. Like brownies by Caffee.inc, Kokolapa, Koh Yoel, Little Bee etc-etc. Sometimes a pop-up kitchen will show up on the weekend.
That is a very nice way to grow the regular customer community to ‘family’. This way they live by their brand “Homebound”, whenever we come to Homebound Coffee, it feels like paying a visit to nice and supporting uncle/siblings/cousins/relatives.
That is one of the reasons I want to make a collaboration merchandise for Homebound Coffee. I want to celebrate the bonding and an homage to a couple of clown fish in the aquarium at the cafe.
So I drew a couple of ClownFish and a cup of Piccolo (my usual order). I posted the drawing on social media, and the response was good. We then opened a pre-order, and the response was very good.
It was a very nice collaboration, to which I really enjoyed the process. I hope that we can do more in the future.
